Furthed to the design of the Damascus-Daraa line already completed, the Syrian Railways have assigned to Italferr the executive design of the freight station of Sbena and rolling stock maintenance area. Italferr has been also responsible for the design of Kadem station (the main passenger station in Damascus) and the line between Sbena Freight Station and Kadem Passenger Station (about 6 km).
The activities will be conpleted in the second quarter of 2010.
