Qualification systems
Purpose of the qualification systems
The purpose of Qualification Systems of Italferr S.p.A. is to define lists of subjects with proven suitability in relation to which Italferr chooses those to be invited to the individual procedures for the assignment of services.
Structure of the qualification system
The Qualification System is formed of the following documents:
General regulations
Defines the requirements which must be held by the Service Providers in order to be accepted by the System as well as the appopriate documents proving possession of such requirements.
Attachments
Application scheme: template to be used for the purposes of presenting the application for qualification.
Questionnaire: an informatory document concerning requirements of a general, economic-financial and technical nature held by the applicants for qualification.
Procedure of economic-financial suitability: defines the procedure used by Italferr in order to assess the financial reliability of the subjects in progress of acceptance.
Procedure for managing the index of reliability of the service providers: defines the procedure used by Italferr for realising the continuous control system of the services provided by the subjects awarded with service contracts on behalf of Italferr.
Declaration forms: template to be used for the purpose of presenting the application for qualification.
Reimbursement
Method of payment for refunding technical-administrative expenses and billing: pursuant to that foreseen by the specific Regulations for Qualification, payment of the refund for the technical-administrative expenses shall be carried out by bank transfer to the following account:

Specifying the reason for the payment and the following data:
Qualification System - SQ...
Name, address, VAT number or tax code of the Subject making the payment.
In order to issue invoice the subjects under qualification are requested to send a copy of the bank transfer order, in which they must clearly indicate the data as specified hereabove, by fax (06/49752221) to ITALFERR S.p.A. – Amministrazione e Controllo di Gestione.
Since 01/01/2013 it is possible to send Request Form to the follow ulr https://www.acquistionline.italferr.it.
Notices
As from 01/01/2013, it is possible to send the application for qualification through the Italferr Procurements Portal at the address https://www.acquistionline.italferr.it.
The documentation subject matter of the Qualification Systems can undergo amendments which may not be shown on the site immediately.
Italferr shall not be responsible for any problems deriving from the use of documents which are no longer valid.
In any case, the provisions of the Regulations must be understood as automatically replaced, amended, abrogated or disapplied where the relative content is incompatible with binding legislative or regulatory provisions which have come to be.
As from 1 July 2011 the services of the subjects qualified by the SQ-001 Qualification System shall be assessed according to the new “Procedure for managing the Reliability Index for Service Providers ".
