Expropriation
R.F.I. – Rete Ferroviaria Italiana S.p.A. chose Italferr S.p.A. for carrying out activities connected with expropriation procedures for Public Utility aimed at realisations and/or modifications to railway routes as regulated by the consolidated expropriation act – Presidential Decree 327/2001 as amended, including those foreseen in relation to the Procedures Manager. Such activities have effects on the properties involved in the infrastructures to be realised and are carried out after the implementation of the relative restraint as preordained for expropriation, through a Services Conference procedure or ordinary authorisation processes and subsequent approval by R.F.I. S.p.A. of the final design leading to an implicit declaration of public utility. The consolidated act on expropriation identifies the procedure to be carried out for the purposes of public information of the involved subjects, before the aforesaid provisions are adopted, as per the list of notices of declaration of public utility shown below.
