Italferr, which has already played an important part in the development of the High-Speed (AV) Turin-Lyon line project (for in-depth details, see "Completed Projects"), continues to perform a leading role in the preparatory studies prior to the implementation phases of this major European link.
Since late 2008, Italferr has supplied the company Lyon Turin Ferroviarie (LTF) with engineering services in the specialised areas of:
Operation and Maintenance
Safety
Civil Works, Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering
Railway-specific and other systems
Italferr is currently carrying out the feasibility study " La Maddalena geognostic tunnel. Technical and environmental project. "
The Study falls within the application phases of the Framework Agreement "Civil Works, Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering."
Activities began in January 2009 and are due for completion within January 2011.
