High Speed Pune - Mumbai – Ahmedabad
Italferr, in association with other leading world companies in the railway sector, partecipated in the development of a Feasibility Study for a High Speed Corridor between the cities of Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The mandate was conferred by the Indian Ministry of Railways.
Activities were completed in 2009.
Technical training programme for railway managers
On behalf of the Ministry of Indian Railways, Italferr has developed a theoretical and practical technical training programme in Italy for railway managers.
72 Indian Railways managers underwent training by some forty in-company instructors which was divided into four modules:
• Technology
• Electrical traction
• Civil infrastructure
• Business strategies.
The lessons and field trips were held between October and December 2008.
