Urban Nodes
The interventions in the main metropolitan areas of an infrastructural and metropolitan nature are aimed at bestowing the main railway nodes systems with systems able to guarantee high capacity and regular transport, as well as integration with the main railway lines converging on the node and with the other methods of transport for urban mobility.
The realisation of infrastructural interventions in large metropolitan areas resolves notable problems pertaining to territorial, urban and environmental insertion into the involved areas.
Of equal importance is overcoming the artistic and archaeological limitations which exist in almost every large metropolitan area of Italy.
