Italferr is committed to developing the national railway infrastructure and respecting an environment of high natural, historical and artistic value, which has World Heritage status and thanks to the tourist industry is also one of the country’s main economic resources.
Infrastructure development is a constant challenge to find the right answers to the ever-sharper requirements of Controlling Bodies and Local Communities, with a vision of the environment involving both protection and growth; a delicate balance must be struck between conservation and intervention.
