A delegation from China visits Italferr

Italferr meets representatives from the Chinese company “CRSC” for developing infrastructure projects on international markets

A partnership aimed at developing design synergies on foreign markets and promoting integrated activities for securing new business opportunities; these are just a few of the points tackled during the meeting held in Rome, on 8 June, between Italferr spa, the engineering firm of FS Italiane Group, and CRSC, a Chinese giant and leader in the production of rail technologies, products and services, specialising in control and signalling systems.
A delegation made up of Mr. Wang Mingzhi, Mr. Wen Guang and Mr. Sun Shuo, respectively CEO, Europe Officer and Regional Manager of CRSC, who, after visiting the PCS at Roma Termini, were received at the Italferr HQ by the CEO and GM Carlo Carganico, the President Riccardo M. Monti, and the management of Italferr to discuss possible synergies.

The Rome meeting follows up on a previous meeting between the CEO Mr. Carganico and the top management of CRSC in China on 15 May, during the Italian Government’s visit to Beijing for the “Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation”. The primary goal of the meeting – said Mr. Carganico – is to broaden the spectrum of global alliances, to compete on more and more markets, supplement our client portfolio, establish effective partnerships, in keeping with the renewed mission and new 2017 - 2026 Business Plan of FS Italiane Group, in which Italferr will be playing a primary role for internationalisation purposes.

At the end of the visit, the Italferr engineers illustrated to the Chinese delegation a design model based on BIM – Building Information Modelling – which has become part of the company’s multidisciplinary toolkit.
