Italferr: agreement with Ausenco for the development of infrastructural projects on the Australian market

The agreement signed in Rome at the central HQ of the Engineering Firm of Gruppo FS Italiane (Italian State Railways)

A Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing projects on the Australian market and beyond. In detail, Italferr shall provide its worldwide expertise in railway engineering and AUSENCO its client portfolio and its consolidated presence on the markets.
This is the aim of the agreement undersigned in Rome on 17 February 2017 by Italferr (Gruppo FS Italiane) and the Australian firm AUSENCO, a primary engineering company with 1,500 employees in 18 countries and projects completed in 50.

“The aim of the agreement
– states the Italferr CEO, Carlo Carganico – is to create a strong partnership capable not only of increasing our client portfolio through the ample and proven network of AUSENCO on the Australian market but also of building an alliance for the future with a company present throughout the world so we can bring together our respective know-how and technical skills to meet combined challenges and to share a mission with a view to mutual growth on international markets”.

The MoU was signed by Carlo Carganico, CEO of Italferr, and Zimi Mika, CEO of AUSENCO.

In 2016 Italferr supplied technical assistance services to the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (Perth) aimed at the introduction of modern infrastructure maintenance methods. Today, and more precisely with AUSENCO, Italferr is defining its participation in important invitations to tender for the creation of infrastructural projects both in Australia and across the world.
