External and independent assessment of the surveys concerning the safety and signalling installations for the Casablanca-Tangier MED line
As part of the contract for the "Design, supply, installation and commissioning of the safety and signalling systems for the Casablanca-Tangier MED line" for the Moroccan railways (ONCF), Italferr, as a member of a joint venture with Italcertifer, will be serving as an external independent assessor for Bombardier's signalling system designs.
The line, consisting of two lots (Casablanca–Kenitra and Sidi Yahya–Ras R’Mel), is 370 km long and comprises 31 stations. Trains will be able to run at a top speed of 220 km/h, also thanks to ERTMS level 1 signalling installations.
Operations, which began in June 2015, are scheduled to end in March 2018.

As part of the contract for the "Design, supply, installation and commissioning of the safety and signalling systems on the Casablanca-Tangier MED railway line” for the ONCF (Office National des Chemins de Fer - Moroccan railways), Italferr, in joint venture with Italcertifer, will be the External Independent of the signaling facilities for the Casablanca Junction, the involved stations of the consultancy are: Roches Noires; Casa Voyageurs; Triangle Casablanca and Ain Sebaa. From a strategic/economic point of view the Casablanca Junction stations have a relevant role,  considering they are all central stations connecting the Centre of the Country with the suburbs.
The consultancy services started last June 2017 and are scheduled to end in January 2018.
