Preliminary study of the Ả«ailandia – Barcarena railway line
Italferr provides technical support to "Triunfo Partecipacoes e Investimentos" (one of the most dynamic and up-and-coming public service concessionaires in the country) for design work on the railway line running on the 560 km between Ả«alandia-Barcarena.
The appointment came to an end in 2016.

"Ferrograo" project
In association with the Brazilian company Logit, Italferr provided technical support services for the implementation of the 1,000 km railway corridor between Sinop and Miritituba passing through the states of Mato Grosso and Parà (known as the Ferrogrão line).
This is part of the extensive study program launched by the Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres - ANTT for the main section corridor and for which the Brazilian government will organize public service concession calls for tender.
Activities involved market analysis aimed at defining freight traffic volumes, full operating line models, concept design for loading/unloading and modal interchange points between the railroad and other transport means and a financial breakdown to appraise future line concession profitability.
Italferr services were completed in November 2015.

Progetto “Trens Intercidades” - San Paolo
Italferr provided technical support to the Brazilian Public Service Concessionaires (EDLP Estacao da Luz Participacoes e CCR, Companhia de participacoes em concessoes) for the “Trens Intercidades” (Intercity trains) project.  the project consists of a 450 km passenger railway network project submitted to the San Paolo government through a private proposal.
Upon the direct request of the San Paolo Government, Italferr developed independent project analysis regarding specific  aspects such as  the rolling  stock selection (pros and cons of  tilting trains), operational models, construction phasing, identification and concept of rolling stock maintenance workshops.
Following Italferr project delivery, the State of San Paolo accepted the offer submitted by the Brazilian Concessionaires for the project and will proceed with the launch of the first tender for the concession of the most profitable section within the network (Sao Paulo-Americana).
Activities started in January 2014 and ended in September 2014.
