Italferr was commissioned by ENR - Egyptian National Rail - to develop the design of the signalling systems of Corridor IV of the Egyptian infrastructure network, represented by the two strategic sections Benha - Zagazig - El-Ismailia - Port Said and Zagazig - Abu-Kebir, for a total extension of about 214 km, 21 stations, 1 CTC (Centralised Traffic Control point) in Zagazig and 40 technological buildings.

The 3-year contract involves Italferr in preparing the technical specifications and tendering documents and assisting the Client until the tender is awarded for the executive design, supply, installation and commissioning.
