To manage risk effectively it is not enough to identify and assess it. We must also be able to communicate it clearly and transparently to the various stakeholders involved.
Communication is not just the transmission of information. Communication is required to ensure that stakeholders understand what we tell them. For this reason, we pay great attention to the dissemination of concepts, theories and tools related to risk management, addressing a wide range of audiences, including technicians, students and ordinary citizens, in order to promote a new type of safety-based culture, to spread knowledge and to encourage the active participation of stakeholders in decision-making processes. Risk management, therefore, is increasingly aware and responsible by taking into account technical, economic, environmental and social aspects.
