ANALYSIS OF LOAD-BEARING STRUCTURES OF CIVIL ENGINEERING WORKS UNDER CRITICAL CIRCUMSTANCES  

Italferr carries out the study and analysis of the behaviour at high temperatures, which can develop in fire conditions, of load-bearing structures of underground and elevated civil engineering works, especially those pertaining to railway and road infrastructure. To this end, on the basis of the national and international standards of the sector, as well as on the basis of experimental and non-experimental results derived from scientific research, analytical simulations are conducted that, by means of calculation methods contextualised case by case and based on the principles proper to construction science and techniques, allow to analyse the behaviour over time of the load-bearing structures with respect to the action of fire represented by 'temperature vs time curves'.
