Italferr speaks at the networking day of the National Center for Sustainable Mobility (MOST)
The epochal challenge of ecological transition that our country is experiencing under the impetus of the NRRP represents an opportunity to strengthen the synergies between development and research.
With this in mind, more than fifty stakeholders including universities, research centers and major industrial entities such as the FS Group, have joined together to support and accelerate the change.
On the occasion of MOST's networking day on Urban Mobility, at the Aula Magna of the Rectorate of La Sapienza University in Rome, Italferr President Paola Firmi participated with a speech on the integration scenarios between infrastructure and mobility, highlighting the role of Italferr itself - an engineering company of the FS Group's Infrastructure Pole - in the design of new artefacts that are increasingly sustainable, integrated and resilient, as the booster of innovation in accelerating Italy's ecological transition.
In line with global and European sustainable development strategies and the FS Group's business plan, Italferr is working to integrate the railway network with other forms of mobility. To this end, it is anticipating innovative solutions to reduce the impact on the environment and is contributing to the country's socio-ecological and energy transition by taking full advantage of the opportunity of new technologies and innovative services.
