Italferr obtains the renewal of its BIM Management System certification in compliance with the UNI/PdR 74:2019 Reference Practice

Conducted by the Certification Body RINA Services S.p.A., the outcome of the Audit resulted in the renewal of the certification of the BIM Management System of Italferr - the engineering company of the FS Group's Infrastructure Hub - for the field of application: "Design, including procurement management, works supervision of transport infrastructure".

During the Audit, the operational flows of the activities of Design, Executive Project Verification developed by the Contractor and Supervision of Works were illustrated with particular focus on the structuring and keeping under control of the BIM Management System, as well as on the activities of measurement and monitoring, human resources management and risk management.

The Auditor of the Certification Body emphasised the high involvement of the company's Top Management in the implementation and maintenance of the Management System, as well as the widespread competence and professionalism of Italferr's personnel, highlighting the suitability of the monitoring and control process, as well as the company's ability to identify points of improvement for the BIM Management System and to monitor planned objectives.

This activity saw the active participation of the 'HSQE Systems' Operational Structure, the 'TID Spoke & Digital Rail Infrastructure Development' Department and the corporate functions responsible for the Organisation and Development and Risk Management processes, all of which worked together to achieve this result.

The positive outcome of the Audit once again confirms how much our company recognises BIM as one of the strategic elements for achieving increasingly challenging objectives, thanks to Italferr's people and its ability to propose solutions for the continuous improvement of processes.
