ENR 2025: Italferr among the top international design firms

Italferr, the engineering company of the FS Group, in 2025 confirms its position among the global leaders in the sector, according to the international ranking by Engineering News-Record (ENR). The company has entered the Top 225 International Design Firms, reaching position 142, an improvement of six places compared to the previous year, and ranks 121st in the Top 150 Global Design Firms.

This recognition comes in a competitive context featuring the world’s leading engineering firms. ENR highlighted Italferr’s (FS Group) innovative approach, which stands out for its use of advanced digital systems for monitoring work progress. This technology helps ensure greater safety for workers on construction sites, transparency in operations, and risk reduction.

“The continuous digital monitoring carried out by Italferr teams and the use of advanced 4D and 5D BIM for project management to avoid changes during execution, including access control to construction sites, not only improves the quality of the works but also helps prevent possible criminal infiltrations, in close synergy with the competent authorities,” emphasized Italferr’s CEO, Dario Lo Bosco.

ENR has also invited the FS Group’s engineering company to participate in the India Construction Festival, scheduled for September 3, 2025, in Mumbai, with a celebratory moment dedicated to the ranked companies.
