President Martiniello Visits Strategic Projects in India

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, Italferr President Laura Martiniello concluded her official visit to India, held in conjunction with the ENR - Construction World Global Awards 2025 ceremony, which took place on September 3 at the Jio World Center in Mumbai.

Italferr received the prestigious award in the “Global Design Firms” category, selected by a panel of industry experts for its technical excellence and adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as BIM 4D and 5D, standing out for its innovative, sustainable, and safe solutions.

During the mission, the President—accompanied by Asia & Pacific Area Manager Alessandro Gnani and India Area 1 Project Manager Surjit Singh—met with Italferr teams operating in Mumbai and Delhi, visited strategic projects, and engaged with clients, partners, and competitors.

On September 4, she visited the Mumbai Metro project, where Italferr is involved as General Consultancy in a joint venture with Ayesa and CEG for lines 2B and 7, supporting the client MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority).

The meeting with the team and MMRDA’s Project Director, Mr. Basavaraj M.B., provided an opportunity to delve into the challenges of building the urban network and future investments in a highly complex environment like Mumbai’s city center.

On September 5 and 6, the visit continued in Delhi, home to Italferr’s branch office, where the President reviewed the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut line, currently in operation, and met with partner Ayesa, working alongside Italferr on the RRTS (Regional Rapid Transport System) project for the client NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation).
